THE FREE MARKET PROJECT 2019

Hello, you may not know who we are, but we have met many of you.

We are the people of the New Hope Anabaptist faith, and we like our Amish and Old-Order Mennonite brethren labor for our income and to meet our needs and the needs of others.

Since we do not step away from modern technology, we often work as drivers for the Amish, with whom we share a heritage of faith.

South Whitley is a good town - with good people.  We know you well, as we spend comfortable hours in your cafes and your beautiful library, walking your tree lined streets and speaking to shop keepers.

But South Whitley is In Trouble

A leading Agricultural Economist has studied towns and places all around America - places just like South Whitley, and determined a sad truth.

If a Wal-Mart store opens within 15 miles, the small town dies.

Eventually the commercial district decays and the young people leave to go elsewhere for employment and to raise their children.

We are here to offer hope, and to stop that from happening here.
